About the Intensive:
Dance Caribe with Candace
January 14-27, 2017 (no class: 1/16, MLK Day and 1/22)

Morning Session: 10-12pm
The morning session will give all students (from novice to advanced) a chance to experience Dance Conditioning and Soca Dance technique from a seasoned professional and native practitioner. Soca dance is a fun dance workout accompanied by Soca music. The class will start with a short warm up with basic moves traditionally done to Soca music (wining and other body isolations), proceeds to fun high energy dance moves across the floor, and ends with a short sequence of choreography.

Afternoon Session: 1:30-4:30pm
The afternoon session is for all dancers who consider themselves to be at an intermediate level - in ANY form of dance. This session will introduce dancers to her unique ContempoCaribe style as Ms. Thompson sets a repertory piece on the group.

Students can take morning only for half credit or both morning and afternoon for full credit.

Fee: $50
